We've taken the text from our "Edinburgh's History - The Old Town Interactive Guided Tour" and put it into ebook form! This book is packed with fascinating information on Edinburgh's historic Old Town. We've put it into chapters which follow the same six Edinburgh tours as our software.

The "Edinburgh's History - The Old Town eBook" takes you from the West Port, haunt of the Irish murderers Burke and Hare, through the Grassmarket, up the West Bow, into the Castle Esplanade and down the Royal Mile. Castlehill, the Lawnmarket, the High Street, the Canongate, Abbey Strand and the Cowgate all play a part in Edinburgh's history and each one of them is covered in this guidebook. Many of the most iconic Old Town closes and wynds are also included, as are some of the less well known historical, and free, Edinburgh attractions such as Greyfriars Kirk and the Magdalen Chapel.

We've used many old images of Edinburgh and many of these are different from the ones featured in the actual Edinburgh's Old Town virtual tour.
