A new version of our free history podcast has been released which discusses the advantages of virtual tours around historic areas.

Our massive new title, Edinburgh's History - The Old Town Interactive Guided Tour is now available to buy online! This tour will take you around the Old Town in six seperate Edinburgh guided tours. We've given you the complete first tour as a downloadable resource. This week's exhibition shows how the tour shows you some of the long lost Edinburgh buildings. Each demo page now features edited text and accompanying audio.

We've got many more virtual tours in the planning pipeline so keep checking back for the latest news!

A new version of our free history podcast which can act as your own personal guided tour around the Burke and Hare 'locations' in Edinburgh is now available for download and comes with a downloadable tour map as a free resource!

We've changed the demo vitual tour pages for both Edinburgh's History - The Old Town Interactive Guided Tour and Bodysnatchers and Burke and Hare - An Interactive Guided Tour Around Their Edinburgh. Each demo page now features edited text and accompanying audio.

A new version of our free history podcast on the bodysnatchers and Burke and Hare is now available for download and comes with a free resource which is quite hard to find! Relevant articles from the Examiner newspaper of January 4, 1829 are included to give you an idea of what the media coverage of the execution of William Burke was like! These resources are all linked to our Bodysnatchers and Burke and Hare Edinburgh guided tour.

Our second Edinburgh history podcast was released today - this one looks into the problems of poverty in Burke and Hare's Edinburgh and is part of our series of podcasts on the bodysnatchers. This history podcast comes with a free Burke and Hare resource and has an online exhibition on Blackfriars Wynd in photographs and old pictures.

A free, downloadable, Interactive Guided Tour has been released today. The Royal Mile of Edinburgh tour features panoramic images, useful information about the Royal Mile and some of its tourist attractions and comes with archive images and a route map. This Edinburgh guided tour is available by digital download only.

Added a 'Buy' page - our tours should now be much easier to purchase (all the tours featured on the 'Buy' page will be available for purchase as digital downloads sometime next week).

Improved the naming and quality on the West Port and Grassmarket exhibition for the Bodysnatchers and Burke and Hare podast 1.

Podcast two is ready and waiting to go for Monday!

Changed erroneous date for next podcast, originally read that that next podcast would come out on Monday 3 - this has been changed now to Monday 6 December.

Changed the Royal Mile map and added some text about it. This free tour is being worked on and should be ready for the first week in December! You can also see this tour listed in the 'free tours' section.

I also changed the demo York Tour ( York's History - The Old Town Interactive Guided Tour). For some reason the text wasn't showing but that is now fixed.
